THE NOBLE CHIVALRIC SOCIETY
Cultural Department of the Knights of Malta Club

The Noble Chivalric Society constitutes the cultural, academic, and identitarian expression of The Knights of Malta Club , having been conceived as a structure of intellectual reflection, editorial creation, and symbolic continuity, dedicated to the cultivation of European chivalric values, nobility of spirit, and the Christian humanist tradition.

The Society assumes the mission of preserving and transmitting a heritage of ideas, principles, and institutional forms that have shaped European culture, promoting chivalry not as a mere historical fact, but as a discipline of character and thought. Honour, rigour, moral responsibility, and intellectual excellence stand as its fundamental guiding principles.
Within the Club, The Noble Chivalric Society functions as an internal cultural authority, entrusted with defining and consolidating the doctrinal, heraldic, ceremonial, and terminological identity of the organisation. Its activity unfolds through historical and symbolic research, the elaboration of studies and essays, the organisation of conferences, colloquia, and academic gatherings, as well as through the coordination of editorial projects. From a doctrinal perspective, it acts as the authority that collaborates both with the Club’s Council of Honour and with the Chancellery of Orders and Distinctions.

The editorial dimension of The Noble Chivalric Society is embodied by The Noble Chivalric Press, operating under the patronage and institutional authority of The Knights of Malta Club . The Noble Chivalric Press is conceived as an instrument for the dissemination of chivalric culture and humanist thought, dedicated to the publication of academic works, specialised volumes encompassing a broad spectrum of scholarly research, essays, annotated editions, monographs, as well as publications of a cultural and symbolic nature.

The Press upholds elevated editorial standards, both with regard to scholarly content and to typographical form, language, and visual presentation, in accordance with the tradition of Europe’s leading academic publishers. Through its activity, The Noble Chivalric Press contributes to the consolidation of a coherent, reputable scientific and cultural presence, capable of engaging meaningfully with the contemporary academic, institutional, and editorial environment.

The Noble Chivalric Society, together with The Noble Chivalric Press, affirms a vision in which tradition is lived as responsibility, culture as a form of identity, and nobility as a permanent exercise of the spirit. They represent the Club’s commitment to the continuity of the values that have defined, throughout the centuries, the intellectual and moral dignity of Europe.

In the service of faith, culture, and human nobility!
